2016年に英虞湾を望む緑豊かな国立公園内に建設されたヴィラタイプのリゾートプロジェクト。“Reach to the Dialog with Moonlight” をコンセプトに、英虞湾周辺の自然環境を深く理解し、そこでしか体験できない自然の光の移ろいを大切にした照明計画となっている。特に敷地内のランドスケープにおいては、ゲストに自然の夜空を楽しんでもらえるよう、既存樹、移植樹それぞれの樹形や配置などを細かく検証しアップライトする植栽を厳選しつつ、光量を抑制した上質な陰影を感じる光環境が計画された。
Amanemu is a villa type resort hotel opened in 2016, in a verdant national park overlooking Ago Bay. As we gained understanding the value of the natural environment around Ago Bay, we proposed the concept of "Reach to the Dialog with Moonlight", designed lighting in a subtle way. An important intention of the lighting design was rather to emphasize the changes of natural light of from morning to night, to create an environment where guests can enjoy the nighttime scenes that can only be experienced there. Landscape lighting was carefully studied in order to enhance, in particular, the view of beautiful night sky. We identified sizes and forms of each single tree and their arrangement in the landscape, before selecting the trees to illuminate at night. Muted lighting for the landscape created a peaceful and pleasant nigh-time environment for guests.
