  • Kentaro Tanaka, Representative Director

    Kentaro Tanaka was born in Tokyo in 1969, graduated from Musashino Art University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Scenography and Display Design. He joined LPA in 1995, and served as Director from 2005 to 2022. While being responsible for numerous projects, he was in charge of leading teams developing lighting details and lighting materials. In 2022, Kentaro decided to move on from LPA and started his own practice. In the same year, he established Amber Co., Ltd.

    The notable projects he worked on are; Tokyo Takarazuka Building, Kaikyokan, Moerenuma Park Glass Pyramid HIDAMARI, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, The Chedi Chiang Mai, W Seoul Walkerhill, Midland Square, St.Regis OSAKA, Kanagawa Art Theatre / Yokohama Broadcasting Station, Intercontinental OSAKA, Ootemachi Tower, Aman Tokyo, Aman New Delhi, Hotel Okura Tokyo, etc.
